After its release on the eve of the 2024 election, festival screenings, and an award-winning international broadcast run, DEMOCRACY UNDER SIEGE will finally be released in the U.S.  Since the film’s debut, Ann Telnaes won her second Pulitzer Prize in 2025, after she resigned in protest from the Washington Post when they censored her work.

We are partnering with grass-roots organizations, libraries, and schools that champion free speech and understand the urgent need to deepen understanding of our political system in order to defend it.

Learn more about setting up an in-person or digital screening, as a powerful tool to:

  • Inspire and organize pro-democracy activists

  • Anchor a team building event

  • Spark an audience into strategic action

  • Fundraise for your organization

When available, we can arrange both virtual and in-person appearances by Ann Telnaes, Director Laura Nix, one of our featured experts, or leadership from your organization for a post screening conversation. The film will also be available for in-person or virtual group screenings, as well as home viewing and “pay it forward” purchase.

Let us know if you would like to partner on a virtual event, or screen the film at your local theater, school, or community space. We can send you preview of the film and work with you to set up your screening.
