After its release on the eve of the 2024 election, and an award-winning international broadcast run, DEMOCRACY UNDER SIEGE is now available in the U.S on Kinema.com. Since the film’s debut, Ann Telnaes resigned in protest from the Washington Post after they censored her work, and won her second Pulitzer Prize.
The film is available for home viewing, to send as a gift, and for in-person or virtual group screenings.
We are partnering with grass-roots organizations, libraries, and schools that champion free speech and understand the urgent need to deepen understanding of our political system in order to defend it.
Learn more about setting up an in-person or digital screening, as a powerful tool to:
Inspire and organize pro-democracy activists
Spark an audience into strategic action
Fundraise for your organization
Create a discussion platform for coalition building among organizers, activists, and policymakers.
The film team can arrange both virtual and in-person appearances by leadership from partner organizations, cartoonist Ann Telnaes, or director Laura Nix, and invite one of our featured experts for post screening conversations.
